 Bhubaneswar Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Arrival Bhubaneswar and Rich in flora and fauna, this place borders the Mahanadi River along the Satkosia gorge, which also includes the Gharial Crocodile Sanctuary of Tikarpara. A stay at Tikarpara and cruise along the 25 kms long gorge with beautiful forests on either side is a memorable experience. Tourists can reach Baisipalli Sanctuary by choosing the state highway that is connected from Bhubaneswar to Gania.Overnight stay at hotel.

  Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary Nilamadhab temple

  • Situated at Kantilo in Nayagarh, on the bank of river Mahanadi, Nilamadhaba Temple is considered to be on eof the renowned temples in Odisha. It is located at a distance of 100 kms from the State capital. Dedicated to Lord Nilamadhaba, the temple lies atop the twin hills and is surrounded by lush green forests. The temple bears a significant place among the devotees of Lord Jagannath. A permanent flow of holy water from the feet of Lord Nilamadhaba attracts large number of tourists to this spot every year. Maghasaptami is celebrated here in grand scale.Then return to hotel.

 Nilamadhab templeLadu Baba Temple

  • During morning drive to Ladu Baba Temple. Located 14 kms away from Nayagarh, Sarankul stands proud with the 15th century shrine of Sri Ladukeswar, popularly known as Ladu Baba. The presiding deity here is known to be the combined form of Hari (Vishnu) and Hara (Shiva) as is the case with Sri Lingaraj in Bhubaneswar. The festivals and rituals of Sri Ladukeswar are also similar to that of the Lingaraj temple. This shrine is the most prominent one from amongst a good number of Shaivite shrines dotting the region, back to Bhubaneswar Airport /Railway Station for Onward journey.
