The Odisha cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. The Odisha cricket team is selected by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The Odisha Cricket Association organises the Odisha Premier League every year to promote cricket and to search for local talent throughout the state.

Anuradha Biswal – is an Indian track and field athlete from Odisha who specializes in 100 metre hurdles.

• Got 3rd position in Asian Athletics Championships competiation in year 2000 on 100 metre hurdles .
• Got 1st position in South Asian Games competiation in year 2006 on 100 metre hurdles.

Dutee Chand – is an Indian professional sprinter and current national champion in the women’s 100 metres event.

• She is the third Indian woman to ever qualify for the Women’s 100 metres event at the Summer Olympic Games.
• She gets the India’s first medal in 100 metres event at the at the Jakarta Asian Games since 1998 .
• She is the first Indian to reach the final of Global Athletics 100mters final, in 2013.
• She become the national Champion in 100 metres and 200 metres.
• Recently she has even own gold medal in women’s 100 metre sprint event in the taiwan open athletics championship

Jauna Murmu – is an Indian sprint runner and hurdler from Odisha who specializes in 400 metres and 400 metres hurdles.

Srabani Nanda – is an Indian woman sprint runner athlete from Odisha specialized in 4x100m relay, 100 metre and 200 metre sprint events.

Sriyanka Sarangi – is a ace shooter . she has bagged 3 gold medals , 6 silver medals and 3 bronze medal in various international events and also own a lot of medals at national level .

Minati Mohapatra –  is the first woman from Odisha to win the most prestijeous award in the country , Arjun award in 1980, for her outstanding spoting achievement in Cycling.

• She own National Champion Trophy for 8 times .
• She has own 5 gold medals in the Indo –Sri Lanka Cycling series in 1979.
