Do’s & Don’ts

• Read safety signs.
• While boating Do not pollute the Lake in any way. Violation is a punishable offense.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Swimming is banned in most Lakes. Violation is a punishable offense.
• Use the dustbins and garbage receptacles for disposing all garbage and rubbish. Do not throw them in parks, on beaches, into the sea or public places. Please help keep the Odisha litter free.
• Drinking & smoking are prohibited in the area.
• Do not use plastic bags. Plastic carry-bags are banned in Odisha. If anybody is caught with a plastic carry-bag, he/she can be fined either or imprisoned for Certern period or both.
• Do not hunt any kind of birds and animals both on land and on sea. Please help us in preserving Natural habitat.
• Remember to carry a little cash always & keep yourself hydrated during noon time.
• Do remember to carry all your important travel documents and all the emergency contacts.
• Dont light anything on the way or throw any burning match or any other burning material on the road or into the forest area.
• Do Wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes.
• Beware of wildlife animals and insects.
• Do not exceed the approved speed of 30 kmph while going to any Hill Station.
• Always keep First aid kit while in trip.
• In doubt always take help of the Local Police.
