- The rocks in the waterfall are very slippery. don’t throw plastic plates here and there.
- Serene place in Odisha which is a good place to organize picnics but gets heavy rush during holidays so try to reach early to secure a spot.
- You have to Carry Your own requirements for kitchen.
- Please do not carry plastic or thermocol stuffs.
- Only local people are selling packed food and water .

It is the Gundichaghai waterfall on the river modala falling for about 50 feet in the Keonjhar district of Odisha, famous for its abundant natural beauty and of course the Ghatagaon Tarini temple.
Why visit :
The waterfall is unique because water cascades down in several different streams,making it look absolutely gorgeous.Moreover its located close the extremely famous Ghatagaon Tarini temple that many devotees visit to worship the reigning goddess . you can make a family trip to the place combining a picnic here with the temple visit.
Though the fall is mostly for a trip and doesn’t have any night stay options, once can stay at the basic option available at Ghatagaon(A govt. Pantanivas and a few others ).The town of keonjhar is also close by. It’s about is about 190 km from state capital Bhubaneswar through NH16 and NH20.
