• Never dive without knowing the depth of the water and never dive into shallow water.
• Don’t swim so far that you don’t have the energy to swim back to shore.
• Do not swim when drunk.
• Do not use plastic bags. Plastic carry-bags are banned in Odisha. If anybody is caught with a plastic carry-bag, he/she can be fined either or imprisoned for Certern period or both.
• Do not hunt any kind of birds and animals both on land and on sea. Please help us in preserving ocean-life at beach.
• Staying on beaches or forest areas overnight is strictly prohibited. Take care to return to your hotel or resort after sunset.
• Remember to carry a little cash always & keep yourself hydrated during noon time.
• Puri Beach is located at the city of Puri and the distance between Puri railway station and the beach is only 2 km. Nearest airport is located at Bhubaneswar which is 60 km away. Buses and Taxis are available for local transportation.
• Puri beach is a wonderful beach to take a sea bath.It is rocking to watch the sea too.The beach has also other attractions like camel ride,horse ride,different type of vendors.
• This beach is very huge and long. Clear water with so many green and blue shades. You cannot stop yourself . So many stalls like snacks, cloth, bags, jewelary etc. Exact opposite the beach , big market for typcal odhisha sarees and dresses many other things, you can bargain and buy, Must visit market.
• first day you can spent sometime in beach and second half in Sri Jagannath temple. In see beach one can spend couple of hours to buy crafts and there are many veg and non-veg snacks to eat.
• In 2nd day visit Satapada for boating and to see dolphins. Dolphins seen sometime and rarely. For Satapada you may catch local bus from main bus stand.
