Places To See During Trekking:Mahendrgiri Trekking Tour: Mahendragiri Mountain is located in the middle of Eastern Ghats in Gajapati District, Odisha. It is popular for its spiritual values and trekking destination. It is a ‘Kula Parvata’ along with Malaya, Sahyadri, Parijatra, Shuktiman, Vindhya and Malyavaan.
Information: Tourists can go for adventurous trekking to this hill station . There are three temples on the top of the mountain. These temples are named after the Pandava brothers and their mother Kunti. The Kunti temple is 30 feet high and is at one end of the flat top the mountain. There is a Gokarneswar Linga here, in which whatever amount of water poured, gets disappear. The main festival of Mahendragiri is Maha Shiva Ratri occuring in between February and March. At that time, thousand of devotees from all around the world come here and trek onto the peak to worship Lord Shiva. The other two temples are the Yudhisthira temple and the Bhima temple.

Places To See During Trekking:The golden rays of the morning sunlight was falling upon us as we rode through the lonely roads. Blame it on the magic of Deomali, but Partha, my friend had a grin on his face like a baby and I was smiling like an idiot too. We arrested every landscape of this place in our camera lenses while making our way up the mountain.

Things Not To Miss:Deomali Peak, with an elevation of about 1,672 m, is the highest peak in the state of Odisha, it is situated near Doodhari village, Pottangi Panchayat division which is 70 km from Koraput via semiliguda, in Southern Odisha. Khandadhar :

Elevation:Khandadhar is the 12th Largest water fall in India and 2nd largest water fall in Odisha. It is a perinial waterfall and the water fall height is 801 ft. It is in the Sundergarh district of Orissa.

Things Not To Miss:Trekking up to the Khandadhar Falls is one of the most exciting things to do in Rourkela. Korapani Nala plunges from an altitude of 240 m to form Khandadhar Falls which is one of the highest waterfalls in Odisha. Surrounded by dense forests, the waterfall resembles the edge of the sword, hence named ‘Khandadhar’. Ideal for nature lovers and peace seekers, a trip to Rourkela remains unfinished without visiting this surreal cascade.
