To approach #Ghumar waterfall, there need of trekking shoes, comfortable clothes and trekking stick (optional).

• Ghumar waterfall is one of the most beautiful, serene and scenic falls of Odisha situated in Kalahandi district of Odisha, India.

• The exact entry point for #Ghumar waterfall is Dokrichanchara. From Dokrichanchara, there is 2km trekking to the #Ghumar waterfall and which is highly adventurous as you have to walk through big slippery stones, water and sharp edge of the hills.

• During trekking you will witness many wild flowers and chirping sound of birds.

• As it is a trek of upstream, so it is quite paining but enjoyable.

• On the half way of trekking you will find another small fall coming from #Ghumar waterfall is known as Sanaghumar falls, which is also attractive.

• When you reach to the foot of the #Ghumar waterfall, it is very pleasant temperature almost 2-3oC less than ambient temperature as only noon sunlight is available throughout the day.

• Within the 50 meters of periphery you will get sprinkling waters touch to your body from the waterfall.

• The water reservoir of the fall is suitable and enjoyable to take bath in natural conditions; but yes if you reach by noon it will be pleasurable to take a cool bath else feel quite cold at late afternoon.

• The dense forest with stony path will make you more apprehensive to your nature visit.
• Ampani forest near to this waterfall is excellent nature trailing spot for birders, trekkers and nature lovers.
